Almost Quit – Chapter 3 – What Are The Odds?

You often get odds thrown in your face now and again. Did you know that the chance of being struck by lightning is one in three million? Or did you know the chance of winning the lottery is one in fourteen million? I wonder if there are odds for my mistake? It hit me almost immediately what happened. I made a typo in my exam search. Usually a typo triggers error messages, but on this occasion my module code typo happened to actually be a real and existing module! SERIOUSLY WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT?! Almost Quit – Chapter 2 – The Error

– The Error Everybody makes mistakes. Some you can recover from, whereas others leave scars that serve as constant reminders of what you did, or in my case, didn’t do. I am currently writing a story called ‘Almost Quit’ and decided to publish the first chapter today. I don’t know if I will finish it, let alone publish the whole thing, but the first chapter will definitely be up very soon! … Continue reading Stories

Five Years

Half a decade doesn’t seem long in the grand scheme of things. However, it’s felt like a lifetime.  I say this because I realised earlier that one of my closest friendships/relationships/acquaintances is approaching five years. I am a very open person and rarely shy away from letting people in. However I do still have a private side, so this won’t be a tell all blog, but I felt the need to express how much I value this particular person. Not say I value any of the other people in my life any less, because they’ll be the first to tell … Continue reading Five Years
